The Genertech story began in 2001 when Robert Mizzi established the business in Traralgon, Victoria.
Robert completed his apprenticeship with the former State Electricity Commission of Victoria (SECV) and was later employed by Siemens. These experiences opened his eyes to the opportunity of providing a specialised electric motor and generator repair and overhaul business in the Latrobe Valley and culminated in the establishment of Genertech.

From humble beginnings, Genertech now employs 18 staff with experience and expertise in all areas relating to rotating and stationary electrical equipment.

 

Genertech has recently relocated to a significantly larger premise in Morwell, which
increases the business’s capacity to handle much larger jobs within the workshop.
